Acumina passionately believes in the development of assessment materials that encourage the pupil/student as a ‘thinker’.

We pride ourselves on producing materials that are creative, innovative and engaging – all critical to assessing real learning rather than rote, and to making sure the pupil approaches assessment with interest and enjoyment.


This can include:-


Formal test materials, national, international and local

Informal assessment materials, supporting teaching and learning

Extended response tasks for use in the classroom, either as part of an extended/one lesson project, or as an addendum to general classroom teaching

Cross-curricular assessment materials (the STEM agenda)

Assessments for specific groups of students, eg gifted and talented

Functional skills assessment materials, for pupils and/or adults

On-line, electronic testing, or hard-copy paper assessments

Authoring of text books, information for teachers, pupils and parents

Training of staff to enhance the assessment of learning

Training materials for teachers/educators

Consultancy – advice on assessing learning


With our extended skills and experience base, and our dynamic approach, we are able (and willing) to provide services other than these. This is just the beginning!
